Sunday Boomer was outside playing ans walking around. After his bath, his nose started running and his started swelling some. Yesterday morning he woke up and his eyes was almost swollen shut and his nose was running. He is on (singular and Zyrtec)They went down some after he had been awake. So in gym they go swimming this week. Boomer can't swim, but Boomer does not know he can't swim. So he gets in the water and does his thing. They put a floaty on him so that no one has to be in the water with him. In order to go off the boards and the slides or even get in the deep end. They have to do laps. Boomer did 3-5 laps. It is a Olympic size pool. He decides that he wants to go off the diving board. So his teacher has two people get on either side of the diving board just in case. First time he says.. Ohh... I forgot I am afraid of heights. No, he is not, but I am sure that is scary to him to be that far above water. He just in, pops back up and swims (he can move his arms enough with a floaty on) to the ladder. Says... I want to do it again. This next time he sits on the board and scraps his arm. This kids scares the crap out of me at time. He is not afraid of anything. He is leery of trying something new for the first time, but he will do. Unless it is food. lol We are very proud of him, but if I was there I would have had a heart attack. We are the opposite in the water. I can swim, but not good enough to save anyone, I panic if I can not touch the bottom and refuse to go off the boards or the slides. I am afraid of height and water. Unless like I said I can touch the bottom. Boomer does not care if he can touch the bottom or not. He is going to go where he wants and just go out and do thing that everyone else does. I refuse to tell Boomer that he can not do something. Because when he was younger the school always told him he can do this or that, so he would not try. I let him show himself that he can not do something. Then he motivates him to do it, but I also make sure he is safe. Boomer gets out of the car, comes in the house. I asked him where his glasses was. They are here.... Charles said I know he had them on his shirt when I picked him up. Well come to find out he lost them at the store. Charles will go get them after work. Later Boomer goes back outside and does his thing. When I came in I told him to wash his hands and don't rub your eyes or face until you do. Well he could not sleep last. He started running a low grade fever. Well so I kept him home today, but I just knew that it would start to go up, because his nose was gross, stopped, up and running. Sure enough I checked it at 11-11:30 and it had started to go up. We have to watch Boomer when his allergies starts acting up. Because the next day or two he can start wheezing or it will go into a upper respiratory infection. So I am sure that is what is going on now.
Well so this morning Charles tells me that his throats hurts, he was sneezing yesterday and his nose felt like it was running. Great. Later this morning my throat started hurting and is getting worse. Just what we need right now. lol So I guess it is a wait and see with us all. lol
