My Friday Night

Boomer went to his first dance last night. He was really nervous, but one of the teachers and his wife, said that they would got. So he danced alot. Well we dropped him off at 6:55 pm and went to Alco's was going to walk around and look at things without a child. It is very rare that we get time together without Boomer. Well we just walked in there and was looking at some stuff. When Charles' cell phone rang. I thought crap something happened to Boomer or he changed his mind. Nope. it was his boss telling him that he needed to go put a new stop on the highway est of town. There was a wreck and someone hit it and broke it off close to the ground. So I was like crap. So we left and went to the office. Told him that I was going to get gas and check on Boomer. Went to the convience store and went to the bathroom, went checked on Boomer, went back to the convience store, went to the Chinese Restaurant, to see what time they closed. Since that was we was going to eat at. By the time I called Charles to make figure out if he was still where he has to go. He said just meet me back at the office. I just have to tie things down and I will be there. So I did that and waited for him. We go to the restaurant, got our food (buffet), sat down to eat and his cell phone rings again. I was like crap here we go again. lol It was Boomer telling us he wanted us to come pick him up. Charles let us finish eating and then we will. So we hurried and did that. Went and got him. Went to Sonic to get drinks. Went to the convience store to get some cokes to take home for this morning. Well Boomer went to the bathroom, comes out and his student id is gone off his clip. So I said go look in the car while I pay for this. He said it was not there. So we hurried back to the school. Since by this time the dance was getting over. I asked and it was not there. I hurried and looked too. Did not see it. Went back to the convience store and it was not there either. So out in the parking lot I told Charles to look again real fast. It had come off his clip and slid down between the seat part and the back part of the seat. Good thing or I would have had to buy him another. Finally get home and just relax a bit then go to bed. What a night I had. lol I guess that was sign that Charles and I was not suppose to have any time together. lol No I did not get pictures. I remembered on the way to town. But his teachers that went, got some pictures and so I will get some of them. I was really nervous about his going. I did not want him to get his feelings hurt. But once the kids seen that he could do they want they was doing. They just pulled him in the circle with them. They are really good to him and watch out for him. He is in Special Ed. For different reasons...
