Big 4-0

Well yesterday I turned the big 4-0. Is that a good thing? Hmm... not sure. lol Am I stressing about it? No. It is just a number and another year gone by that I am still in one piece. Everyone seems to asks me.. So do you feel older? Um.. compared to when... It seems like from 20 to 40, just slipped by without me knowing it or realizing it. The song that keeps coming to mind today was.. Don't Blink. these words keep coming in my mind..

Sometime I wonder how that can happen, but yet you know how that happpens... It seems we all forget to slow down and smell the flowers, because in 20 years. Thing will not be the same and you wonder where your life went. The next thing I know I will be watching Boomer graduate from High School and again wonder how he grew up so fast. I never in my wildest dream think that I would be caring for having my parents depend on me so much at the age of 34. But I guess we do what we have to do in life. lol here is some pictures of what I got yesterday.

I got a card from MIL. But I did not take a picture of it. lol


I got these flowers from Charles. He asked me what colored I wanted. I really did not want to have to pick my own gift. I also got these scented candles. One is Apple Cider and the other one is Apple Cinnamon.

I got this OU Sooners Purse from my parents.
